Shipping and Policy
o Pottery pieces are one of kind and will not be repeated, however you can contact me to request a variation on the theme if the piece you are interested in is no longer available.
o Each pottery piece is made by hand and is therefore unique and may include slight variations in glaze finish or other surface embellishment. Style availability for pottery pieces is on a first-come, first served basis and there is no guarantee your favorite style will be repeated. Please contact me if you would like me to make an item that is no longer available.
o All functional pottery that has been designed for a food-related purpose is food safe and can be washed in the dishwasher. Having said that, hand-washing your hand made pottery will reduce any likelihood of damage.
o I am not responsible for damage or loss due to dropping or otherwise mistreating of any pottery pieces. In general, care should be taken to not shock your pottery piece with dramatic temperature changes – going from freezer to oven, putting directly on a fire or stove-top element, pouring in boiling water, etc. – as this can result in your piece cracking. Sadly this disclosure is here due to experience. Don’t be that person!
o The volume of a mug or tumbler is measured full to the rim for easy comparison. If you are looking for a specific capacity, I suggest filling a similar mug to the rim and measuring its volume and base your choice upon that.
o Every effort is made to accurately represent colors in each listing; however, actual color may vary slightly on your screen due to technology settings.
o We’re all human, after all: If errors in pricing are shown in the shop, I reserve the right not to sell at the listed price. You will be notified if such a discrepancy is an issue.
o Packaging: I use a mix of new and second hand boxes and materials to package my pieces for shipment.
o Shipper: Included shipping is for USPS. Contact me prior to your purchase if you would like me to use a different shipper. Cost of any rate adjustment may be applied to your order.
o Domestic: unless noted otherwise, prices in the shop include domestic US shipping via USPS.
o International: I am happy to ship anywhere in the world. Please contact me with your address and the requested item(s) to request a calculation for shipping outside of the United States. Your quote will include an adjustment for the allotted figure for domestic US shipping. Be aware that you may owe additional duty or import taxes that are not included in the price, and that there may be a delivery delay as your package goes through the customs process.
o Timing: orders are processed twice a week. I use my judgement to determine the most cost-effective and efficient rate option to get your package safely to you. If have a deadline for receipt, please let me know, and I will work with you to make that happen, however additional shipping costs may be assessed.
§ Some select items in the shop are listed as made to order. If so, please allow 2-3 weeks before the item is ready to ship.
o local orders: If you are in or near Bull Shoals, AR I would be happy to arrange for pick-up/drop off of your order. Please use the promocode LOCALLOVE to indicate a local order and receive a discount.
o PayPal address on file: Please be sure that your PayPal shipping address is correct. I ship to the address that comes through. I have had incidents where a package went to an old address on file and was returned to me. If this does happen the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping to get the package to its correct address.
o Gifts: If your purchase is a gift that you would like shipped directly to its recipient, please let me know so that I can remove the prices from the packing slip. I am happy to gift wrap as well for a small charge – assessed by the size of the item. Use the contact me form to request this.
o Items damaged during transport: Please contact me within 3 days of delivery if any part of your order is damaged during shipping. All items are carefully and adequately packaged to survive transportation; however, some packages receive rough handling during their journey. You will be asked to provide photographs of the damaged item(s) and packaging for insurance purposes and to retain it all in case it needs to be inspected for the claim. I will work with you to refund or replace, as you prefer.

o Returns and exchanges are available for regularly priced items. Contact me within 14 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days of delivery.
o I do not accept returns or exchanges on items purchased on sale or custom/personalized work.
o Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Cancellations of non-custom orders are available until your order has shipped.
